Tobu acts as a private resume vault for your company. Once you link your email and desktop, Tobu automatically identifies resumes, extracts them, and builds a secure searchable database.
This ensures that no resume ever gets lost in old emails, cluttered folders, or across multiple user accounts.

== What Data is Stored ==
Tobu stores resumes in two main formats:
* '''Raw Resume Files''' — The original file (PDF, DOC, DOCX, RTF, TXT) uploaded or received via email.
* '''Parsed Resume Data''' — Extracted structured data such as:
** Candidate name
** Email and phone
** Skills, experience, and job history
** Education details
** Location

For example, if a candidate sends in a PDF resume via Gmail, Tobu stores the PDF and also parses out the candidate’s skills and years of experience, which you can later filter in searches.
