Advanced Filters in Resume Search

Tobu’s Advanced Search feature allows recruiters to perform highly specific searches using a combination of inclusive, exclusive, and mandatory filters. This article outlines how to use these filters effectively.

Accessing Advanced Search

- Navigate to the Resume Search page. - Click on **Advanced Search** to expand detailed filter options.

Available Advanced Filters

1. AND Keywords

- Candidates must have **all** keywords entered in this field. - Best for "must-have" skills. - Example: Searching for "Java" AND "Microservices" will only return resumes that mention both.

2. OR Keywords

- Candidates may have **any one or more** of the listed keywords. - Useful for finding a wide variety of relevant candidates. - Example: "Spring" OR "Hibernate" will fetch resumes with either term.

3. NOT Keywords

- Excludes candidates who mention certain keywords. - Helps filter out irrelevant resumes. - Example: NOT "Intern" will remove candidates with internship roles.

4. Location (with Radius Filter)

- Specify a location (e.g., "San Francisco") and a radius (e.g., 100 miles). - Tobu will filter resumes based on geographic proximity. - This is more accurate than Simple Search's location filter.

5. Years of Experience (Range)

- Define both minimum and maximum years. - Filters based on total experience, not just current role.

6. Email Source

- Filter by resume origin: Email or Desktop. - Useful when segmenting candidates by source.

Combining Filters

- You can use multiple filters simultaneously (e.g., AND + NOT + Location). - Tobu will prioritize candidates meeting more criteria and rank them higher in results.

Export and Follow-Up

- After filtering, you can:

 - Export selected resumes in Excel format.
 - Send bulk emails or set auto-responses.
