Steps to Link Your Gmail Account
- Log in to your Tobu account.
- Go to Resume Sources and select Add Email Account.
- Choose Gmail from the options.
- Sign in with your Google credentials and grant read-only access to your inbox.
Once connected, Tobu starts scanning your Gmail inbox for resumes.
Resume Extraction and Parsing
- Tobu scans your email history to extract all past resumes.
- New resumes arriving in your inbox will be detected automatically.
- Each resume is parsed into searchable fields like name, email, phone, work experience, education, and skills.
Sync Timing
- Historical extraction can take between 30 minutes to 10 hours depending on the size of your inbox and number of resumes.
- For active Gmail inboxes, new resumes typically appear in Tobu within 2 to 10 minutes.
- On low-activity inboxes, syncing can occur every 2 to 4 hours.
Staying Synced
- Gmail accounts stay connected through your Google login.
- Occasionally, Google may log you out for security. If this happens, Tobu will alert you to re-authenticate your account.
Managing Multiple Accounts
